How was my experience when I learned English?
My experience wasn't easy because I used to be shy with people who were with me for instance in my high school, moments during my life when was necessary to speak it, I didn't understand it, my teachers and parents told me that if I practiced it between twice or more times a day by using approximately 30 minutes per day I would achive it to express without any kind of problem in the future or whatever moment that was necessary always respecting.
I knew just grammar but I needed to improve my speaking skills so I decided to talk with myself in front of the mirror about whatever thing I don't know what happened yesterday or to catch more vocabulary because for me was esential not to repeat the same words all the time as a native person uses currently in The United States, The Uniyed Kingdom or wherever foreign area around the world.
At the moment when I took my English course from A1 level to C1 level, in the year 2023 I was completely nervous about talking with someone by using this second language especially when I presented my oral speaking quiz from my house online meeting with a teacher who was in another branch, I used to answer him / her by using short answers yes or not whitout giving him/her more explanations about previous questions that he had made since he wanted to listen to more details as if someone has a natural conversation, I was insecure about myself, I didn't believe that I could speak in English maybe I thought that I needed some tutorials.
Over time, I tried to talk to myself all the time while I was making dinner and lunch, walking to the mall, traveling on weekends, etc. I watched videos about being in confidence with myself, taking advantage of each moment or activity where was mandatory to express ourselves I told myself that If I participated in those activities I would understand it better, after two months my Enlgish was improving and I wasn't as nervous as before because I had trained my mostly skills that I didn't pay them enough attention
Nowadays, I can speak it very well, obviously I need more vocabulary but in this case is more specific about a favorite topic but I have everything how to pronounce, writing skills as in this blog I am doing, in some cases I have seen that I need to read more to learn many words and to avoid to make mistakes before presenting an important speech with a lot of people in front of me.
My suggestions for the next ones who want to speak another language are:
1. Think in English all the time, if you want to say your activities that currently you do in your daily routine try to mention them in English because this helps you to increase your vocabulary especially when you have someone who speaks very well by using advance expressions or phrases.
2. Be discipline, natural and relax, try to create your own schedule to study it for instance today I am going to be too busy in the afternoon so I'm going to study during the morning for 2 hours. At the moment when you share something maybe your ideas try not to think them too much just say them independent if are going to be wrong or someone doesn't like them and when you present your speaking test show a relax attitude with the interviewer or teacher without he realices that you memorized all questions together with their answers.
3. Making mistakes is a gorgeous tool which brings you more knowledges in your life and you will have the opportunity to improve in future speeches or moments where are requiered to review them very carefully.
This experience can be shy, isn't easy but I am safe that If you follow those steps including suggestions you will become a great speaker who has interesting topics in conversations and you would work in call centers, international hotels or restaurants since it's essential for your life.
